Core Subjects
We deliver programmes for Maths, English and Science for students from KS1 –KS4. Each starting point will depend on individual needs determined in the assessment, while your goals will inform the tuition programme, and the content.
Maths
Our maths tuition spans the entire new Curriculum. From basic maths, to understanding new concepts, once a firm platform is formed in the preliminary stages, students will then move towards more challenging tasks as they stretch their independent learning skills.
English
The English programme spans the whole national curriculum at all key stages. Depending on the key stage of your child, our English programme can begin with basic sentence building and spelling through to critiquing advanced texts.
Science
Our Science tutors cover syllabuses from key stages 1 & 2 through to key stages 3, 4 & 5. The initial stages of tutoring in science aims to build up a solid platform and basic understanding in order to be able to progress from there. Our science tutors can work on specific or multiple disciplines depending on your child’s needs and can prepare them for regular assessments in school and all major examinations such as GCSEs and A/AS levels.
Specialist Programmes
11 Plus preparation
Our 11 plus tutors specialise in preparing students for the entrance exams for the local grammar schools. The programme covers the specific requirements of each individual school which is being applied for. Our tutors ensure success through teachings methods, frequent test practice, timed activities and mock tests.
Special Educational Needs
As a Centre we understand that some students may require specialist provision or differing strategies, we have tutors in our team that have extensive expertise in supporting children of all abilities. This could range from children who are delayed in their learning or children who have Social, Emotional or Behavioural Difficulties. We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Adult Classes
Our Adult classes centre on the needs of the individual. We cover basic Maths, English, Functional Skills and beyond. Whether you want to brush up on your English skills or would like some assistance with applications forms/interviews, one of our experienced tutors will be happy to help you on your journey to success.
